I was once playing a basketball game and they had not such a good team. This was because of one kid. Then I passed to him but he missed. I said, “Don’t worry; we are still gong to win.” And we won! I told him next time I will teach him to play better.

One time, I went to SCC and I saw my friend Mike playing basketball. He isn’t good at sports. I saw four other friends who are great at sport. So, I said, ‘Let’s have a 3 on 3.” They said they didn’t want to play with Mike. I said, “I won’t play because he isn’t playing.” They said, “Fine, you could both play.” I said I wanted to be with Mike. We were playing an 11 gamer. Mike got 6 points and we won. The other team got 5 points. I didn’t get any points because I wanted them to feel better.

One time, I was playing football outside and I didn’t count someone in the game and he became very sad. It was not nice of me to not count him in.
One time, I saw someone playing football and he was not good at it. I told him that we could practice one day and I saw that he was getting better and other people included him and he became happy and he always played with us football.

Let’s say you are playing basketball and you see a kid that isn’t good and your friends are laughing at him. You shouldn’t laugh with them. You should tell them, “Don’t make fun of him. He is not so bad.” Even if he is that bad, still you could try to make him feel good.

If someone wore two different kinds of socks and people made fun of him, I would say, “Stop! Just think if you made that same mistake?”

Let’s say there is a boy who isn’t so good in baseball and the team is in the bottom of the ninth inning and there are two outs and 2 strikes and right after the next pitch he striked out. The whole team was going to hurt him but one kid said, “Why are you doing that? Accidents happen all the time. Don’t act like you never made a mistake.”
Let’s say there is a kid who is being made fun of. I would say, “Why are you doing that? It’s not nice! He could make fun of you also. You would also cry from the embarrassment.” Then more and more people will do that. It’s not good to make fun of someone you shouldn’t just stand there and watch him being made fun of. You should stand up for him.

There was a new kid who came to my school and they put him in my class. People would make fun of him but I wouldn’t. I decided I should be his friend and maybe other people would like him, too. And, now, everybody in the class likes him.
There was a kid who lost a game in hokey. We played two games. One of the best players got injured. Since I was the best one out there and they were playing the best team I helped them and they won. So, they weren’t that angry anymore at that kid who caused them to lose.

One day when I was at Sunday’s program, there was a person who isn’t so good at basketball. So, almost every time I got the ball, I passed the ball to him. Even though he missed I said, “Good shot.” And I kept on passing to him until he scored. When we finished the game, I helped him to practice change his shot.

One day, I came to school and I brought a bag of candy. Everyone wanted and they were crowding around me. There was a kid in the corner and he was by himself and he wasn’t asking for candy. So, I moved everybody out of the way and I went over to him. I gave only him candy to make him feel better.

I could include someone in by playing with them football in recess. I will pass to them a lot and make him feel like he is the best. I could also teach him how to play good. I will make him feel like he counts.
